Website publisher

This is a personal, non-commercial website. This English translation is for information only; the French version prevails.

Publisher: Victor Monnerot-Dumaine, private individual.

Contact: write to the publisher

The publisher is not a professional. As required by the French law on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN), he has given his full contact details to the host.

Publication director

Victor Monnerot-Dumaine.

Host

Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States.

Website: https://vercel.com — Contact: privacy@vercel.com

The host may record technical logs (IP address, date, page viewed). They are used to run and secure the service. The publisher does not use this data.

Audience measurement

This website measures its traffic with Vercel Web Analytics. The purpose is statistical only: knowing how many pages are viewed, and which ones.

This tool sets no cookies. It records general data: page viewed, date, referring site, country, device type, browser and operating system. This data can neither identify you nor follow you across other websites.

To count visits without recognising you, Vercel computes a fingerprint from the request. This fingerprint is deleted after 24 hours.

These statistics are anonymous. They are not combined with any other data. No consent banner is therefore needed.

“Ask Victor” terminal

The suggested questions show answers written in advance by Victor. No AI is involved.

When you type a question, it is sent to Anthropic, the company that develops the Claude AI. The latest questions and answers of the current conversation are sent with it. Claude then writes an answer based on the content of this website.

This website does not keep the text of your questions. It only keeps technical information about each answer: status, amount of text processed, duration. The content is not kept.

To prevent abuse, each visitor can ask a limited number of questions. To count your questions, the server computes a fingerprint (hash) of your IP address. It does not keep the IP address itself. The fingerprint and the counter stay in the server's memory. They are written to no database and no log. They disappear when the server restarts.

Anthropic acts as a data processor. It does not use these exchanges to train its models, and deletes them within 30 days. Exception: if its safety systems flag an exchange, Anthropic may keep it for up to 2 years, or longer if the law requires it.

Anthropic stores data in the United States, so outside the European Union. This transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Advice: do not type personal information into the terminal (name, contact details, health data…).

The AI can make mistakes. For reliable information, check the pages of this website or write to Victor.

Email contact and your rights

This website has no form and no user account.

If you write by email, you voluntarily share your address and your message. This data is only used to reply to you. It is neither sold nor shared. It is deleted at the end of the exchange, and at the latest three years after the last contact.

You can request access to your data, its correction or its deletion: write to the publisher. You can also file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers.

Your browser only keeps your choice of theme, light or dark (local storage). This information stays on your device.

Fonts are hosted with the website. Your browser does not contact any third-party service (such as Google Fonts) to display them.
